Don't you notice how much more people we are getting signing up to the forums, mainly because of the new awol rp, and it's only been up for a week!

im surprised they found it. i mean as far as ive noticed only i have advertised the site. theres no motd that points here. or anything. ive sure other have advertised whil i wasnt playing.

In the end it comes down to actually knowing if the people will benefit the interests of AWOL, I'd say we need people who can sorta "restore" AWOLs rep instead of being loathed... But that's just my opinion~

in one aspect whats there to restore? we were the ones that made the choice to take over icannt at times. it seems only the players have problems. the admins never did. and anyway we get out server at max a few times aday. thats pretty good as is. and we have people sending applications. but what i think is that from now on new awols dont instently be put in trusted just give them a few days to prove themselfs. you just never know.


and in the end we may not always agree or be the nicest people but we are awol and work good togeather

That's acctually pretty funny, because one time it was acctually the other way round, the admins had a problem whereas the players were all agreeing with us :D

I've noticed that heaps of people are starting to join with awol now, and I'm just wondering if we should be a bit more strenuous with the application process.

I agree. AWOL use to be a small close knit group. Now it seems we are accepting nearly anyone. Of course some new members do deserve to be invited.

However, I think we should have a certain amount of members then stop recruiting. Use this time to get to know the new members then recruit some more.

Stop recruiting for proper AWOL, but have a group of "friends".
Friends can then be recruited or just drift off with little consequence.

Getting in AWOL only happens after you've been a friend for a while and people get to know and like you.

While i don't have any intention's to join the awol group at this moment i wouldn't mind being related to it, i vouch for the friends of awol idea.

Yeah i like The friends Group Idea aswell. so that would be the foreground to becoming a proper AWOL member and just a New RP recuit, and mabye see how long and dedicated they wanna be in AWOL byby seeing how long they last in the Friends group

I agree. But I was wondering how it would work? Would there be another clan that is the friend of AWOL clan, or would they just be a group of people we have added to our friends list.

So it's decided? You have to be invited? Also i do think there should be invited aswell to stem the flow of applications but not stop them all together, because some people should be in AWOL and others shouldn't.

Fine, but I think that if we do decide to give them trusted, or any other extra privileges on any servers then they should go through the same process that people would normally go through to join AWOL.
