This is a ban appeal for giacjr__nosound and .LuKe*

Luke and I have been playing the RP server for roughly a week..not too bad server, best RP in Aus IMO.
Now, i'm an admin on a big big SAMP RP community. I know what RP is. Your server unfortunately is not at the level with my community yet, but I was hoping if I brought my skills here I could maybe end up transforming the RP of the community.
The RP was worse than I thought :rolleyes:
Prop killers, prop dmers, prop blocking, DMing, freekilling, etc etc..not good.
Today luke and I decided to go and play, have a bit of fun, make some money.
We got on and I became a chef, as usual. I set up a shop and 2 doors down "Grandpa Dutchman" had a food shop.
I went and checked out his prices, and put my prices $1 lower.
He came back to my shop, i banned him from my shop, one thing went to another and soon enough Luke was a cop and protecting my store.
It escalated, and a bunch of people were rioting outside and broke the glass. I spawned a few glass PHX props and barred the windows up.
Eventually I had enough of this group of rebels + Grandpa ruining my shop, so I sold it and completely moved away.
I ended up getting prop killed probably 6 times, so I (without knowing) prop surfed and just sat in the air.
Grandpa popped out of his apartment, screamed "HEY I TOOK PICS OF YOU PROP SURFING!!" and went back inside.
I inquired as to wether prop surfing was allowed or not, i got told no so I promptly removed my prop.
Then a couple of admins came and 20 mins after they joined, Luke and I are sitting here with nice 3 hour bans.
I would not be arguing as it's only temp., but I call admin abuse here; the admins did NOT investigate at all, assumed that everyone who spoke was noy lying, did not even think that maybe people were ganging up against us and just banned us.
Ban is a last resort, a tool for the really bad rulebreakers who rulebreak after numerous warnings + kicks. The ban was not neccesary, hence why I am arguing it.
Grandpa was not an angel either, I have pics of him prop blocking his apartment, but I beleive he did it with good reason so I won't upload it, i have pics of his friends prop DMing, using props to destroy things, kill people, etc, and I will upload if neccesary.

Yeah, Everyone started blaming me for random jailing because, i jailed everyone that was prop killing, and prop blocking, AFTER i warned them about 5 times.

Also, dutchman is just acting all innocent and think he didn't do anything, he was the one that started this mess.

It seems you've left out the bit where your little buddy luke randomly jailed us all. Also, I never placed a single prop near you, your store, or luke. You also left out the part where you places a bath in the middle of my street stand. And then continued by trying to kill me with it.

I had requested that my friend make a 'hit' on your store. Their job was to kill you, and destroy your stuff. They encountered cops along the way, and killed them. You reported them in the /alert channel, but then they got killed once more. After this you did not alert the cops, but they continued to chase the rebels down, and jail them. I was randomly jailed in this process, along with many others on the server.

I also enjoy reading your appeal, with your use of the word "Screamed". I told you I had a screen-shot, and was attempting to tell the admins who were apparently AFK. You also did not enquirer if prop surfing was against the rules or not when you attempted to do so. You enquirer long after; Around the time in which I was attempting to get you banned for it - 10 or so minutes later.

Looking at your response, it seems you've tried to make yourself and Luke look like the innocent ones in the dilemma. And by the way, the first time I boarded up my house was when Luke was trying to randomly jail me once more. Might wanna add that to your little story. You're a very talented writer in the fiction genre, I'll give you that.

No doubt after this reply, Luke will hobble his way onto this board and post on the topic of how I was a rampaging maniac, and of course, how you and him are 100% the victims.

Dutchman, I'm not trying to get you banned. You are rather innocent, but your constant verbal abuse was taken waaay too far; have a think how you would have felt if you had been in mine or luke's position:
Constantly getting our store attacked, having pepople moaning and crying, claiming we're not RPing, when really, none of you have ever seen RP :)

First of all Giacji as you acted on the server I would have hated to be joining your big big RP. As you should know in nearly all RP's props surfing is a big no.. no..

Now I have had reports from about 4 people saying yes you did do that and judging by the fact that only you (the accused) and .Luke* (Another person who I shall explain why I banned shortly) said that you didn't, I could not trust you to. The 4 other people are also very trusted in my eyes. So here is the deal.

This is how my interpretation of the story went..

First of all you and Grandpa had a price war. You had people that said that the prices were expensive and you decided to ban them from your store. To implement this you worked with the cop. Who jailed anyone banned from the store that entered. Then what happened is he started jailing random people because he did not know who to jail. After that you got annoyed with people not going to your store and decided to go to Grandpa's base and prop kill him. You also prop blocked. Then when he decided to prop push you back you prop surfed into the air.

Now that is basically the story that 4 people have told me. So I ban you and .Luke* for:

You: Prop pushing surfing, DM'ing
Luke: Random jailing and not doing his job properly

Since these are not that serious I thought a 3 hour would be good.

Ban will stay due to the facts I have received.

I second Bithmars opinion here and quite frankly i don't see your case. You not only broke 2+ of our rules but you took matters into your own hands by abusing your police powers. This is a serious matter at hand and i really hope you have learned a lesson from your ban.

Let me state on record once and for all, NEW LIFE RULE applies to EVERYTHING you do in the server, thus meaning you can NOT ban a character for "life" from your store unless the "life" is until they die.
Please let me also make it very clear that if anyone is found abusing their power as a police officer again it will be dealt with in a harsher way then this particular occasion. I understand you may not have been the only guilty party but you defiantly played a large role in the whole situation. Please really consider what you do before you do it next time and dont forget that NLR applies.
