Hey everyone!
We're team AWOL (Away Without Leave), a bunch of Australian PC gamers who’ve been playing together since around December 07’.
The original members of AWOL first got together from a Game Arena G-Mod server where Sylver asked if anybody had TF2 around October 07. Cube, Easy, Fridge and a few other players responded that they did and so started playing together. After a few weeks, they’d all gotten pretty good and decided to form the clan you see today. Cube initially funded a TF2 server which lasted till around March when he started at Uni and could no longer afford to. Recently, Sylver has ventured into the land known of as “outside” and found a job to fund the clan.
We have around a dozen members and are continuing to recruit new players to bolster our ranks. As far as ranking goes, everybody is pretty much equal with a few exceptions for some of the clan founders. We put an emphasis on the quality of our recruits and not the quantity so everybody tends to know everybody else in the clan. We’re not interested in having 20 prepubescent kids screaming at their mothers in vent
We primarily play Gmod 10, TF2 and CS:S, but we also play plenty of other games from Warcraft 3 and Dawn of War, to Bioshock and Mass effect and anything in between. We’re always open to suggestions for new games so if you think you’ve found something we’d be interested, tell us!
