Donator stuff?

I keep getting mixed answers about this so...

When you donate, is the donator status permanent, and you only have to pay if you want the dedicated slots each month, or are both a monthly thing? Also, how much do you have to donate to get them, exactly?

The way that it currently stands is that there are 8 slots on the server. A $10 donation gets you:

1 reserved slot for yourself.
2 extra slots on the server.
Donator status.

These each last for 1 month, at which point you can feel free to whack another $10 into the jar, and bag yourself another months worth of these benefits. Remember that this not only benefits you, but it benefits others even more.

EDIT: This is a little hard to manage at the moment, as there are still a few people on the older system. It'll fix itself soon.
