As some of the few stranded members who use this forum know, Hellsreaper was our old Scenario Manager... I found those scenarios to be quite fun, BUT since he's hardly with us on the server nowadays, I figured I'd take over for him and continue the fun.

Just to briefly explain, if I'm on the server and theres a few people on, I may decide to throw up a scenario. And since I'm a sadistic bastard, I'll be making most of them revolve around violence, whether it be pinning you against each other in melee or ranged combat, or perhaps contracting you to take out those neighbours kids skateboarding on the sidewalks.... Who may just happen to have weapons handy.

Alternatively, I could be feeling the need to learn, in which case I'll mindlessly blurt out a question, and reward the person who answers it first (mind you academic gain is nowhere near as entertaining and rewarding as violence)

Stranded. Although its better when the reward for winning is levels or something valuable. Not just rocks.

First night for me starting scenarios/missions and everyone seems to be enjoying it.. but in terms of lvl rewards I'm unable to give those so bith has been helping me out (thanks bith).

Nibbles Tokens and Bith's Level Coupons are now available.

Nibbles Token = 1-10 Refined Diamonds (depending on mission) + 10 Skill Levels from Bith (excluding survival)

and we have bith's Level Coupons = good for +1 skill lvl (excluding survival)

Just to end the opening night on some of the Missions/Scenarios, I'd like to think that it was an enjoyable and successful series of events.
The majority of tonight's missions occured on wtf_v3b1, on what I like to call the Combine Compound. These events revolved around a Kill or Be Killed basis, featuring resources and special pickups across the compound. Due to the snipers and my need to keep gunfire kept inside, I had to set up some rather high walls, just so people couldnt sit out of range and shoot the soldiers, or have the soldiers shoot unarmed/unwilling players.
This caused a bit of lag, but... it was still fun for the guys from what I saw, and it was even more fun for me and Bith to watch.

There will be other game types depending on the maps being played. My next type would be somewhat of a retrieval mission. Ideally I'd like this to be on a nice big map, perhaps gms_affection. Various combine outposts around the map, each holding special items. These special items are heavily guarded, and must be retrieved by players (using their gravity guns) and reach a safe zone (most likely spawn area).

Alternatively, I'd like to try some pvp related missions. Simple colliseum, weapons, etc.

Throw in your suggestions for mission types here.

Hmm... I think this is gona be great, my idea is PvP kill the admin and get 10 refined dimonds
