View Full Version : Resigning from AWOL
Well, it's been 8 or so months since I joined AWOL and somewhat 9 months before I joined the AWOL Parkour server.
I made it my business to make sure i got into AWOL since Sylver said i would need TF2 to get into AWOL, not long after i got in by chatting and befriending EasyStreet, Sylver and naturally Bithmar
While I like to think that my time in AWOL was enjoyed most of it by hanging out with you guys on AWOL RP, Minecraft and even TF2 given the odd chance.
Sylver was the first to know that I was going to leave because I felt he would want to know why, but for those less informed then he.
I'm pretty much leaving AWOL because the games you guys have started playing recently don't really match up to what I play, DoTA, CoD (almost any FPS lol) so i don't want to get bunched up with a group of "FPSers" cause i'm a clueless git when it comes to anything which includes 2 teams blowing the shit out of eachother.
So for what it's worth, best of luck to all of you and thanks.
Thanks for accepting me into AWOL and letting me hang out with you guys on Vent, it's been really fun.

:-( WE WILL MISS YOU!
:-( You are welcome any time, don't be a stranger.
Also you should play mincraft survival once it is released.
But anyway, if this is what you must do you will be missed.

Just because he's leaving AWOL doesn't mean he's deleting us off of friends and from his memory does it?
Unless...
But anyway, bye from AWOL Uno. Good luck wherever you land...

I don't see how AWOL are fpsers just because some the other noobs play cod
Well, for me i consider 1/7th of AWOL playing CoD at the same time a bit of an FPS group...
And no, none of you will be removed from my friends list until you give me a good reason to.

What games were we playing before? Hasn't AWOL always been more FPS orientated?
Well yeah, but now I find myself harder to "relate" to most of the people in AWOL itself.
Multiplayer competitive FPS is not my strong point.

Only 1/2 of AWOL is actually active on Steam. Only 2/3 of them go on Vent regularly. So, 1/2 - 2/3 of AWOL could be classified as "active" ?
And who said we play competitively?
Just ignore this then...

Are you sure about those statistics? More people go on vent regularly then on active on steam, I guess that could make sense if you mean playing games by active.
Also you third statistic makes no sense, I would think that between 1/2 - 2/3 are consider active if we go by being active means being on vent and using steam at the same time.

what are you tlaking about? everyone on steam is in awol. i mean you join the vent for a day play on a server for 2 and BAM! instant Awol
Regardless of competitiveness, it's still just the genre as a whole, i'm not big on multiplayer FPS.

Sif mech since when? Sad to see you leave AWOL but best of luck with your gaming. But to me I don't see AWOL as a gaming clan I see it as a social clan formost gaming second, I join the vent to talkto a group of awesome being and if we get a game in all the better, so I don't see why you would leave because people play diff games but hey each to there own

Second that. I always tell people we are more a group of friends, rather then a clan.

oh noes I <3 U UNO DONT LEAVE!! :(
I get what ur saying though it is hard to relate when most of other people are into a different game, but as othas have said why not stick around and enjoy the more social side of the clan, and besides i doubt people will be into fps's for ever.
Anyway I hope u dont go but if u do good luck and keep in touch : )

To get a message back from Uno usually takes about an hour. So if you want to have an argument or a conversation you'll need a spare week or so.
You fuckin' smartass Wilko. lol.
'tis true though.
